Technology/Equipment/Facilities
The Department of Journalism resides in the university's newest academic building, operates three modern computer labs for teaching, provides a photography studio with equipment for still and video production, and situates faculty offices in a convenient location for interactions with students.

In an effort to allow students to work from any location during the summer, the department usually provides a couple online summer courses.

The department has offered study abroad courses in the past, but has not done so for a number of years. UW Oshkosh offers many study abroad options for students that may include journalism and media opportunities.
