Mission Statement

The College seeks to provide educational programs in mass communications and public relations, which are informed by scholarship and professional experience while meeting the highest international standards. The College is committed to provide a learning environment that reflects the plurality and diversity of the region, that is safe and welcoming for its community of students, faculty and staff and that incentivizes full engagement and participating of all. The faculty and students are encouraged to explore, create and innovate while learning and support/administrative staff are valued as active participants in this process. The College embraces research-led teaching and active learning that is grounded on best practices and contextualized by theory. Therefore, the College is committed to generate world-class research in the field of communication and media studies. Technology/Equipment/Facilities

1- The College offers several computer labs along with three Radio studios and two TV studios in two buildings for editing, designing, news reporting and research-related assignments 2- The College assigned a number of studio and labs specialists as supervisors to handle issues related to technical support and maintenance 3- The College is currently working on a plan for developing a Virtual Reality Lab (VR) in order to stay up-to date with the recent trends in Media and Communication Studies

Internships Accepted for Credit

The College has a committee (student success) that designs and assesses policy related to internships and work experience.The committee ensures to contact with government and private organizations to offer opportunities for the internships and training for college students . Credit hours for internships: 120 h.

Internships Facilitated

The College coordinates with the university Career Advising and Student Training Office (CASTO) to make sure that the internship experience of each student is meaningful and fulfilling. The evaluation process includes supervision from the faculty member with the site supervisor. The faculty member ensures to make frequent visits during the student’s internship period. Lastly, the final report is prepared by the site supervisor and the faculty members.

Experiential and/or Immersion Programs for Credit

Student services is a quintessential part of the college. It has mostly two functions. One the one hand to guarantee that students have a positive and meaningful life-changing experience, making sure that they receive the necessary support to complete their degree on time.The other aspect is that of making sure that they receive support to secure decent and well-paid jobs or set their own companies once they graduate.

Online Options

Most of are courses are delivered face-to-face following university regulations and instructions post-COVID. However, some required courses are delivered under hybrid modality to include our branches or to cater for students with vaccination exceptions who cannot attend in person. Hence, any course can be exceptionally subject to be delivered online but it will depend if there is any student who cannot attend in person for medical reasons
