Internships Accepted for Credit

The Newhouse Career Development Center (CDC) as well as the Syracuse University Career Services Office play a role in identifying internship sites. Faculty and alumni also provide leads for internships sites, both credit and non-credit bearing. Receiving credit is often a criterion of the company, though students will periodically elect to receive optional credit. Once a student secures an internship for credit, s/he must secure a Newhouse faculty sponsor who will supervise the experience.

Internships Facilitated

Approximately 331 internships were completed in the 2024-25 academic year. Agencies and media companies include Finn Partners, Sirius XM, Tarte, Nike Communications, KCD Communications, MSNBC, Golf Digest, Christian Louboutin, Digitas, McCann Worldgroup, Warner Bros.
