Mission Statement
The School of Communication offers professional programs for students with a call to service and social transformation. They are prepared to be responsible and attentive to constant technological innovation and to create text, audiovisual and oral messages for the print press, television, cinema, radio, digital production, and advertising and marketing, which inspire people to solve social problems that have a direct impact on Mexican and world society. Our mission is to ensure that Anahuac University communication expert is a leader with high international standards in professional formation and ethics, with and profoundly social commitment and convinced of the power of communication to develop a harmonious social atmosphere and to improve the quality of people’s lives.
Technology/Equipment/Facilities
Facilities: • Laboratories and computer rooms with specialized software for digital design, photography, video and audio editing, web design, modeling and animation • TV set • Audio, dubbing and foley production booths • Video editing and postproduction islands • Video postproduction laboratory • Projection auditorium • Open production booth Main Software: Adobe Suite, Final Cut, Maya, Avid Media composer, Protools, etc.

Internships Accepted for Credit
Students must accomplish professional internships in order get the skills and experience that the labor market demands. This is mandatory.
Internships Facilitated
The professional practices can be carried out in private or public companies, even in the Anahuac University itself, as long as the activities correspond to the professional area chosen by the student. Students must work 12 hours a week and they are able to choose the schedule in agreement with their immediate supervisors. The total number of hours that must be covered at least per semester is 180. To formalize the Professional Internships there is an "Internship Collaboration Agreement".
Experiential and/or Immersion Programs for Credit
Students must accomplish professional internships in order get the skills and experience that the labor market demands. Students also course three Practicum during their major. Students must accomplish social service for a total of 480 hours. All these requerimientos are mandatory.

Study-Abroad Options
TRADITIONAL EXCHANGE Students can go to another country to one of the places offered by the universities with which we have an agreement. STUDY ABROAD Students can go to any university in the world that are interested in, even if we do not have an agreement with that university. EXCHANGE BY UNIVERSITY NETWORKS We are part of different university networks and thanks to these alliances. Students can apply for an exchange or internship abroad.
