Mission Statement

The Department of Mass Communication promotes active learning experiences to empower students to analyze, evaluate, synthesize and use multiple ideas, concepts, skills and viewpoints in the contemporary media environment.
Technology/Equipment/Facilities
We provide all the tools needed for video, audio and multimedia production; we use the Adobe Suite for editing and producing. We have three multimedia labs, a television studio and radio station, and our faculty act as advisers to the campus newspapers. We also have an ongoing communication agency practicum to promote activities of other departments and organizations.
